Awsan is a dedicated leader in women's advocacy and community development, serving as the main person responsible for the women's sector and president of the Coastal Women's Association in Saihut, Al-Mahra Governorate. Her extensive experience spans various roles, including, being responsible for electronic systems and data in the (Together Let's Try to Preserve Lamhara) initiative, director of (Surprise) Kitchen, which specializes in aiding the needy. She also worked as a coordinator of the Al-Amal Center for Cancer Patients, Saihut branch, director of referral of vulnerable children’s cases, and coordinator with the Enlightenment Organization, and the American Pragma Organization, monitoring vaccines through the ministerial relay of the Persent Charitable Foundation, consulting with the SMEPS Agency of the Social Fund, and other positions whose goal is related to the development of women and children in the economic, vocational, professional, and health fields.

Additionally, Awsan has served as the director of the Fina Khair Foundation, Saihut branch, for two years. Her roles are all aligned with advancing the development of women and children in economic, vocational, professional, and health fields. Awsan has numerous training courses, including Training of Trainers (TOT), mental and psychological behaviour, case management for vulnerable children, and women's development. She has also actively participated in various local and international seminars and conferences focused on protecting and defending the rights of women and children.
