Bio: Denise Kynd (@denisekynd) is a collage artist, with a background in mens tailoring and has opened her Design studio Annd (@annd________)in 2020, where she utilizes her skills as a graphic designer, art director and stylist. She works independently in her studio Kynd as a collage artist as well. She describes her work as a “symmetrical chaos”, where she is able to cause tension by slightly skewing the repeated and mirrored images. Kynd's work also consists of appropriated  commercial  images,  bringing  to  light  the media’s  influence  on social  aesthetics,  while  at  the  same  time  discussing  the modern human experience. She sees her work as cyclical, she recycles materials that are ‘normally overlooked or easily thrown away for the next new thing’ and gives them a ‘meaningful, eternal life.’ In 2013 with collaboration with another fellow artist Antoine Fadel they organized STILL, a photo exhibition for the  Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon. Her art was displayed in galleries in different cities around the world including UAE, USA, France, Kuwait, Egypt and in Germany.

Denise is passionate about paper and uses it as her medium, and would often collect different types of paper on her travels. For her paper is combined with memories  to  create  a ‘world  where neither time nor space are valued’. She holds a bachelors honors degree in Graphic design from the University of Hertfordshire.
