Bio: Angela Abu-asba (Angela Abu-Asba) is the daughter of the politician and the member of the Yemeni House of Representatives, Yahya Mansour Abu-Asba. She works as an Assistant Professor at the School of Languages , Sana'a University. She used to work as a Supervisor of Administrative Affairs at the Canadian Occidental Petroleum Company in Sana'a. She has a Master’s Degree in Linguistics from the Malaysian University of Putra (UPM). She also completed her Ph.D. at the Malaysian National University (UKM). During her stay in Malaysia, she worked as a lecturer, academic research, academic positions, and much more.

Angela has attended, arranged, and participated in more than 50 conferences and workshops inside and outside Yemen. She worked for a year as the head of the Together for Live Relief Initiative Team, which is a relief initiative that emerged under the roof of the Sana'a University's Academies Forum. From 2015 to date, she works as the forum's Chair of the Society and Environment Issues Committee. She is the Founder and Director of Angela Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Response, which has implemented many projects in development and relief; The most prominent was the Solar Conference and Exhibition Projected that was conducted in 2019.

Angela was offered many government positions but rejected them all. She chose to work in charitable, humanitarian, and developmental fields. She also does work in human rights, in advocating for women's issues, and in defending freedoms. Her most prominent work is in relief and sustainable development. Angela is considered one of the pioneers of feminist work as she has many memberships in local, Arab, and international forums that focus on world peace, love, culture coexistence, and peace.
