Bio: Farida Ahmed(@fariiahmed) is an activist on the Southern Movement, a journalist, and a researcher in political affairs. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Aden. She also received a high diploma in Political Science from the Institute of Arab Research and Studies in Cairo. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Political Science. Farida is the director of the Hayat Foundation for Development and Human Rights. She has worked as an independent journalist with many visual and electronic media platforms, writing & editing news and providing & producing televised reports. She presented many projects on development and youth to different parties. Farida also participated in many training courses and workshops related to development and women's rights in Yemen.
