Bio: Jaklin Mansoor (@jaklin_mansoor) is a political and social activist who works as an associate professor in the English Language Department at the College of Education - Aden. She is the head of the Visions Center for Strategic Studies. She consults, trains, and she is the head of My Identity Initiative to protect cultural heritage in Aden. Mansoor is the Chair of the Social Affairs Committee of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council and a member of the Southern Academic Team for Peace.

Jaklin holds a Ph.D. in English with an emphasis on Linguistics and Phonology in Syntax from the University of English and Foreign Languages ​​- Hyderabad, India. She is a researcher in the English language, Yemeni dialects, and has many scientific articles in the field. She participated in many conferences on capacity building in the field of the constitution and federal systems, strategic dialogue in southern Yemen, the role of southern academics in promoting peace and security, and empowering civil society organizations to protect cultural heritage in regions.
