Bio: Latifa Jamel (@latifajamel3) is the Vice President of American Center for Justice and a former Chairperson of Yemen Aid. She is currently a writer on Yemeni Affairs and is constantly a guest on Arabic media platforms. As a Yemeni-American, she makes it her duty to stand for the humanitarian crisis in Yemen. She has a passion for leading protests, coordinating campaigns, and participating in UN discussions. She was a board member of the International Council of Rights and Freedom, an Academic Advisor, and an Educator, before immigrating to the United States in the late 90s.

Latifa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Economics. She also holds a Higher Degree in International Relations. She seeks to improve the lives of Yemenis and to ultimately be an integral part of an organization that fosters change, creates development, and preserves the dignity of Yemen.
