Bio: Nadia is a security officer and holds the rank of colonel. She is an investigation officer at Aden International Airport and has more than 30 years of experience in the police and security field.

Nadia holds a diploma in legal and security sciences from the Police College, and after her graduation she worked in a number of security positions, including as a deputy director of the Juveniles Center in Aden, then as an officer director for the Director of Monitoring and Inspection at the Free Zone Security Department in Aden. Following that, Nadia worked as Director of Public Relations for the women police in Aden and managed the Aden International Airport security manager’s office. 

Throughout her career, she produced working papers about the security field, for international and regional organizations such UN-Women, DECAF related to security reform,  Geneva Call org, and Oxfam. She was the peace project coordinator for several courses sponsored by the Peace School and funded by Oxfam.

 Nadia received  several courses in security inside and outside Yemen, she also cooperates with many civil society organizations, especially those working in the women's field. Nadia was a coordinator for a number of projects to support women’s political participation where her work resulted in supporting three women from the Radfan region of Lahj governorate to reach decision-making positions within the local authority.

 Nadia participated in the Conference of Women Mediators of Peace that was held in Jordan, and she also participated in the Autumn Conference for Peace in Egypt sponsored by Organization 1325.  Nadia also trains basic security concepts to fresh female guards protecting facilities.
