Bio: Judge Sabah is the first Yemeni woman to be appointed as  Supreme Court Judge in August 2022. Her appointment is considered one of the most important decisions to empower Yemeni women in the higher bodies of the judicial authority.

In 2017 she was appointed as a member of the Judicial Settlements Committee; and before that, in 2016, she was appointed as an investigator at the National Committee to Investigate Allegations of Human Rights Violations.

Judge Sabah is active on the union level, as she was elected president of the Southern Judges Club after she had been promoted to a number of judicial positions in Public Prosecution since 1991 when she was appointed as a member of the Sheikh Othman Prosecution Office in Aden Governorate. She then moved to a number of prosecution offices in the districts of Sirah, Dar Saad, Al Tawahi, and Al Brega in Aden governorate, and in its judicial ranks from a member of the Public Prosecution Office to a Deputy Public Prosecutor, then a Chief Public Prosecutor, to  Senior Advocate General (the rank of Deputy President of a Supreme Court).

Judge Sabah has actively participated nationally and internationally in the judicial and human rights fields, as she participated in many regular sessions of the Human Rights Council, in addition to her participation in numerous workshops held by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights on capacity building, international humanitarian law, human rights law, international investigation mechanisms and transitional justice for the years 2016-2017 – 2018, as well as other workshops held by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees on the causes of asylum and migration. She attends courses for judicial consultants in Dubai, courses in the judicial system and independence of the judiciary, as well as in drug control, transitional justice, women's and children's rights, and combating violence against women, and she has partnerships with Oxfam, DRC, and Human Rights Watch.
